Food is good, prices are great and our server Stephanie was very on point.... The food was good and they were quick even though they got busy as soon as we got there.

This is my "go to" locals bar. Food is plentiful, fresh, and well cooked. I go there at least twice a week. Great tacos for $1 ea on taco Tues - best on the mt. Hamburgers are so big, you can't eat the whole thing. Mostly the staff know me by name and treat me like family. Not a tourist bar, but a "Cheers" kind of place. Wher I feel so at home.

Huge portion sizes! Fun waitress found the golf tournament for us. Lots of beer on tap at great price. Will come again.

Ordered appitizers. Came out pretty quick. Still had all the oil from the fryer on them. No sooner did I get one on my plate out came the main course. Way to fast. They need to give a lttle time between serving the food. Not 2 minutes after that we got the bill. Ok we get the hint we will hurry and leave.

Me and a friend stopped in because we had heard there was live music. We walked into a shady dive looking bar not expecting much. Boy were we wrong! The music was great! The bartender was awesome! The food was spectacular!!! We had a burger and potato skins! We even returned later in the evening to drink and dance more because we had enjoyed it so much!

Update I had the Sliders: Very good, cooked well great taste My Man had a huge Hamburger and he looked really pleased. He didn't even talk to me until he was done! Onion rings and fries need work.. but we had a great time dancing playing pool and didn't spend a fortune. I recommend this place for a good time out on the town.

Made it here for lunch while in Show Low. It's right across the street from Off World Tattoo, where the Fantastic Mr. It's Complicated was getting work done. He told me about the ever-scary Chicken Fried Burger - that's right! A breaded and fried 1/2 pound burger. Yeah, I didn't get that. My cast iron stomach isn't quite brave enough. Instead, I had a spicy Bloody Mary and their Philly Cheese Steak sandwich with tots. All was just as I'd expect from a dark divey sports bar. Heavy on grease, light on flavor - but huge portions and filling as can be. I was actually impressed with the quality and quantity of meat on the sandwich - and overall it was big enough to need a fork and knife from the start - no way I could fit it into my mouth for a bite. It's Complicated got a burger (not the chicken fried one) - and really had to work at finishing it. HUGE! Prices are very fair and while I don't think I'd go out of my way to eat here again - even if I was in Show Low, if It's Complicated really wanted to, I'd have no problem with it at all.

Let me first start out by saying their breakfast has never disappointed me. Although it takes far too long, I'm always happy when I finally get it. My real problem with this place is the moronic owner. I have never been treated with such disrespect just because he didn't like the woman I was with. I fully understand that regulars pay the bills but when your "regular" is a drunk falling off his bar stool and picking fights with women, I question your judgement. The only reason you are still in business is because there are no other options.

Great service. Jenny is off the hook. She makes your time there even better. Food is good. Many different types of beers on tap. Pool tables. Dance floor when they have live music. You must try this place.

Visited Black Bull for breakfast on the way out of town to head back to the Valley. Hidden in a strip mall BEHIND the Denny's, we were pleasantly surprised by the friendly service and very good food. The home fries were especially good. We had bacon, eggs, sausage, home fries, hash browns, pancakes, biscuits and gravy and even corned beef hash! It was all surprisingly good given that this place is otherwise known as a bar any other time of the day! The price was right, the food was very good, the service was very professional, and it WASN'T the same old crap like at Denny's. We would definitely go back the next time we are in Show Low!

The previous owners have taken the place back, and they put in all new, larger tvs and they remodeled the bar area, which is a great improvement. They have off track betting here, which really doesn't mix well with the rest of the place. They have a separate dining area and the bar, OTB, and the live music and dance floor all share the same area. This bar tries to be all things for all people which doesn't really work that well. The draft beer tends to be warm, which is a major problem to me. Cold beer is what I'm there for. The service tends to be a little slow and the food is inconsistent, one time it's good, the next time not so good. I'm afraid 3 stars is the best I can rate it.

Friday night: Good food, great service. Julie was very attentive and friendly. Saturday morning: Liked it so much we decided to come back for breakfast. Again, great service and great food. I had the chicken fried steak and eggs. My husband had the steak and eggs. Both were great. We will definitely be back when we are in town.

Just OK. Burger and fries plates are huge and reasonably priced but meat is just so so. Kind of greasy fries. Not the best in town.

Had breakfast here. Ordered poached eggs and they made them right even tho they were short staffed! Ate dinner here that night also because a friend wanted to go there because the food was good and reasonably priced. Awesome salmon feta salad! Again the next night for drinks and food . Not disappointed . Great sandwiches! And service!

This place was heralded to my guy and I as the place to go in Show Low for burgers. The layout of the place stinks, the banquet room was booked so people were hovering over our table waiting for us to leave. The appetizers were somewhat edible but not good by any stretch of the imagination. I ordered the fish and chips, the fries were so under done that they were greasy and some were hard in the middle, the fish was dripping grease like it had been cooked at a much to low temp for not long enough, it also was rubbery and tasted off, I took a second bite just to be sure, and so I wasn't losing my mind, I asked my guy to taste it, and he spit it out. The coleslaw was even old and limp. My guys burger was good, and he said the fries were OK, but he ordered the sweet potato fries. The prices would have been really great, and totally reasonable for edible food. When they check came the lady asked if I wanted a box (I don't EVER send food back) I advised her that my food was disgusting and bringing it home wouldn't change that. We waited a ridiculous amount of time for our change, and still not even an apology about the food, even when my guy stepped up and told her how bad it was. I won't be going there again. Nor will I be recommending the place to anyone.

Excellent service! Our golf group has dinner every Thursday and our waitress is awesome. There are approx 24 to 40 of us, and the food is served quickly and is generally hot! Breakfast is good as well!

This was the only place in town playing the UFC fight do we headed over early for food and drinks. The layout is pretty weird. There is a large(ish) bar area, a dining room that probably seats no more than 20 people and a secluded "patio" they use for private parties and showing fights. This is just one long, skinny room with banquet tables and 2 TVs on either end. As we walked into the bar and found a seat we were tailed by two waitress who wouldn't even let us sit down before asking for my ID-one even forcefully tapped me on the shoulder in ase I don't hear her screaming in my ear. As I looked around there were several small children and noticed that the bar wasn't 21+got another 2 hours. Not sure what the hurry do IDs was, we hadn't even mentioned ordering drinks at that point. Once we sat down the service was pretty good. The waitresses were nice and bartenders nice enough. The pepperoni pizza came out hot and delicious. The cocktail drinks come in very small glasses but have a nice liquor to mixer ratio. For 7 people ordering several drinks and some food, the total was somewhere around $75. Not bad at all considering how much was ordered. We headed "patio" (which isn't a patio as much as it is a very tiny banquet room) to watch the fight. Because they were charging admission the packed the room with as many people as would fit so it was pretty difficult to move around and you found yourself sharing large banquet tables win complete strangers. We ordered 2 orders of wings which were good, but could use a bit more sauce, a personal pizza, fries, a few cocktails and 5 pitchers and the total, again, was unbelievably low. After the fight, in the weird and small room, we headed back to the bar to listen to the live band they brought in for the night. To my surprise the band was very good an we had a lot of fun.

Should have known better! I was surprised to see a chicken salad sandwich severed on a croissant on the menu. The chicken salad was actually very good but the croissant was quite stale. The waitress was not friendly.

OK, so...took Ivar Nokson to get new ink he has wanted for Father's day!! Went to RT"S Black Bull after ward...my eldest son was kicked out @ 9 pm...bar policy...not AZ liquor law!! Feel free to look it up! A child, under the age of21 may stay with a parent in a bar until closing unless the bar says other wise. When I asked Rick to reconsider his policy....he threw me out of his bar! He was an asshole and told me I had no idea about AZ Liquor laws...(which I had to learn as a bar tender & as the owner of a Ren. Faire)...and not to quote them to him and then he promptly threw me out of his bar! So, now, I as all my friends to support me in a boycott of TR"S Black Bull!! If you ar local...well, you know there are much better bars! If you are a visitor...we say...they do not deserve your attention!! They don't care about their customers and we really miss Johnny Johnson as the owner!

We love RT's and go at least twice a month. Food is great, atmosphere is fun, we have a favorite waitress, Crystal and always try to sit in her section. Live Music on the weekends, dart games, people watching, meeting friends, play pool, or just hang out, you can do it all here. The pizza is good and cheesy! The burgers are huge and delicious, they have several. I love the green chili turkey sandwich! Cheese curds, spicy green beans, nachos, soups, chefs specials, everything is good. Haven't ever gotten anything we didn't like. Check them out for good food and a good time.
